Our Story
This July, Henry and I will have been together for 10 years! We met on OKCupid as I was finishing up college. It turned out that we lived in the same neighborhood, so we quickly got to know each other and bonded over our shared interests in nature, travel, and games of all kinds.
After I graduated college, we moved in together, living in various apartments in downtown Rochester. During this time we traveled quite a bit, usually visiting aquariums, zoos, and botanical gardens. While we loved living in the city, we eventually moved a little further out to Penfield because we knew we wanted a dog.
In September 2020, we brought home our dog Marnie as an 8-week-old puppy and in November 2022, we bought our first house together. Marnie and the house have kept us busy, but we still find time to go on hikes and host game nights with friends.
In August 2023 on a relaxing beach trip to Fort Lauderdale, Henry proposed to me. My answer came easily.

Ian Stead
Ian grew up in Ontario, NY with his parents Jan and Scott, and brother Matt. Ian has always had a variety of interests, but today he enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, exercising, building Lego sets, and going to concerts.
Henry Leigh
Henry grew up on Gibson Island in Maryland, with his parents Neva and Murray, and brother Ramsay. Henry is a tech wizard who enjoys keeping up with the latest gadgets, playing artsy indie video games, and wading in streams and lakes.
Can’t forget the princess!
Marnie is a yellow labrador and daughter of Greta, who is the dog of Murray and Neva. In true lab fashion, she loves eating, swimming, fetching, and being the center of attention.
